About Sovera Collective
Beyond Survival. Into Sovereignty.
Sovera (from sovereign and vera, Latin for truth) represents a return to intuition and true sovereignty, the act of reclaiming authority over your health, your mindset, and your life, by trusting your body's innate wisdom to heal.
Sovera Collective grew from the experiences that shaped me personally and professionally: watching my mother fight to be seen and understood, navigating my own health journey, and witnessing similar struggles in the lives of my patients. For years, I watched my mother be dismissed, overmedicated, and misunderstood. Conventional medicine saved her life, but survival was not the same as healing. She remained deeply unwell, without clear answers or a path back to the quality of life she deserved.
My own experiences raised similar questions and reinforced the importance of considering the whole person before choosing a path forward. In my work as a practitioner, I saw women arrive exhausted, overwhelmed, and no longer feeling like themselves. Many had been told their symptoms were expected or simply something they had to live with.
Together, these experiences shaped what I believed healthcare could and should be. Sovera Collective was created to offer something different: care that listens closely, investigates thoughtfully, and helps women become informed, active partners in their health.

Meet Amy
Board certified family nurse practitioner. Functional medicine clinician. Certified NLP coach.
Amy Bickford, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, brings 14 years of healthcare experience, including a decade in acute care nursing with a focus on cardiac and ICU stepdown care, followed by advanced clinical practice in functional medicine. She graduated with honors from both nursing school and graduate school and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau at Texas State University.
As an EVEXIAS certified hormone provider and certified NLP coach, Amy brings together the precision of acute care, in depth lab interpretation, hormone and metabolic care, and subconscious change work. Her approach recognizes that the body, mind, and nervous system continually shape how women feel, function, and respond to care.
Amy’s work is precise, collaborative, and deeply personal. She helps women understand and navigate the changes happening in their bodies, make informed decisions, and move forward with greater energy, clarity, confidence, and ownership of their health.
What We Believe
The principles that shape every visit.
You lead. We guide.
You know your body from the inside. We translate the science, connect the patterns, and help you make confident decisions about what comes next.
Midlife is a recalibration
Changes in energy, mood, sleep, weight, and hormones are not a decline. They are signals that your body needs a different kind of support.
We connect the dots
Symptoms rarely exist in isolation. We look across your labs, history, lifestyle, and health patterns to understand how the pieces fit.
Body and mind are one system
Your subconscious can support healing or keep you caught in old patterns that drain your energy and affect your body. NLP helps reshape those patterns, creating more clarity, confidence, and freedom. Shift the pattern. Change the outcome.
